My Paintings grow out of my love and appreciation of life, a gift to see, feel, and interpret such reality. I deeply feel that my jobs as a painter is to present the beauty of the visual world in as many ways as can be imagined. I paint to show and tell the beauty of what surrounds us, be it large or small, real or in my mind scape.
My idea of a good painting consists of four most essential elements: good composition, values, right temperature, and mood. The mood is actually the atmosphere, which translates the quality of light through the use of Color Theory, but from time to time I like to explore different techniques, and push my limits. Oil is my favorite medium because it is rich, flexible, and forgiving, like a friend.
Through painting I have found my soul's voice, and my message is conveyed through my artwork. Life is truly a journey. We all have our turning points, joys, and sorrows. No one is alone, we are all connect. My artworks are reminders of this truth. I strive to create the sense of passage of time, ancient textures, and places of spiritual beauty so that it strikes an emotional chord of recognition in the heart of the viewer.
Color and texure along with strong or dramatic composition makes my style distinct. I like to make works that engage the viewer and promote discussion, either by their quirky nature or environmental messages.
